NOUGHTIES Pop favorites Hear’Say are in reform talks – but possibly without Myleene Klass.
You and Kym Marsh started a WhatsApp group with the other members in September and met secretly before Lockdown 2 last month.
They were discussing a tour of the UK next year on the occasion of the 20th. Anniversary of winning the ITV reality show Popstars.
Tonight, a source said, « Hear’Say was one of the original reality groups that got good, and something of a cult band.
« At the moment there is a real demand for nostalgia and feel-good celebrities – and Hear’Say is for you. « .
“The group exchanged a number of messages about a reunion and suggested some tour dates and some one-off TV appearances, as well as a possible ITV documentary.
« But after much deliberation, Myleene politely said that after much thought, she didn’t think the time was right for her. ”
The band was Myleene, who turned into a TV star, Kym, who turned to acting and was in Corrie for 13 years, and Noel Sullivan, Danny Foster, and Suzanne Shaw.
They had four hit singles, with the first two reaching first place. The biggest was the debut song Pure and Simple.
They had a sold out tour, entered the 80th celebration. Prince Philip’s birthday and had their own TV show on Saturday night.
But tension arose when Myleene and Kym failed spectacularly and Kym quit after less than 18 months. The group folded up in 2002.
