Club América finally plays away from home
After a long wait, Club América will finally have the opportunity to play a Liga MX match outside of their beloved home, the Azteca stadium. The team will face Querétaro in a previously postponed game that was originally scheduled for match day two of the Apertura 2023 season. This will be the first time in over four months that Las Águilas will play a game away from home.
A fortunate schedule for Club América
Club América has been fortunate with their schedule, as they have been able to play eight consecutive games at the Azteca stadium. The last time they played a game away from home was in the first leg semi-final of the Clausura 2023 league, where they emerged victorious with a 1-0 win against Chivas at the Akron stadium. Since then, they were eliminated from the tournament and started the Apertura 2023 season with a home loss to FC Juárez. They have played six consecutive games since then, with five of them being at home and one due to an administrative quirk against Cruz Azul.
A long-awaited away game for Club América
Tonight, Club América will finally have the chance to play a game of the current season away from the Coloso de Santa Úrsula. They will face Querétaro at La Corregidora stadium. This away game will be a test for the team, as they have become accustomed to playing at home for an extended period. It will be interesting to see how they perform in a different environment and if they can continue their winning streak.
