Today (Sunday March 7th) the Recording Academy announced the full lineup for the 2021 GRAMMY Awards show, officially known as the 63rd GRAMMY Awards. Actors are Bad Bunny, Black Pumas, Cardi B, BTS, Brandi Carlile, DaBaby, Doja Cat, Billie Eilish, Mickey Guyton, Haim, Bretagne Howard, Miranda Lambert, Lil Baby, Dua Lipa, Chris Martin, John Mayer and Megan Thee Hengst , Maren Morris, Post Malone, Roddy Ricch, Harry Styles and Taylor Swift. Artists will come together while they are still safely separated to play music for one another as a community and celebrate the music that unites us all.
Additionally, Music’s Biggest Night will pay tribute to the independent venues sponsored by the Pandemic were badly affected. From bartenders to cashiers, those who work daily at the Troubadour (Los Angeles), Hotel Café (Los Angeles), Apollo Theater (New York City) and Station Inn (Nashville) will be presenting various categories throughout the night .

The Recording Academy has announced details for the premiere in advance of the annual GRAMMY Awards broadcast this month.
Before the show of the GRAMMY Awards 2021, the 63rd premiere of the GRAMMY Awards will take place on Sunday, March 14th at 12 noon PT, which will be broadcast live internationally via GRAMMY.com.
The premiere will be by the current three-time GRAMMY nominee Jhené Aiko hosts and hosts a range of appearances by current GRAMMY nominees including: Nigerian singer, songwriter and rapper Burna Boy, jazz band Terri Lyne Carrington Social Science and blues musician Jimmy « Duck « . Holmes, the classical pianist Igor Levit, the Latin American electro-pop musician Lido Pimienta, the singer, songwriter and performance artist Poppy and the singer, songwriter and composer Rufus Wainwright.
The event will start with a tribute to the 50th anniversary of the celebrated classic Marvin Gaye tracks « Mercy, Mercy Me (The Ecology) ». The special performance of the ensemble with all nominees will be the Afro-Peruvian jazz orchestra, Thana Alexa, John Beasley, Camilo, Regina Carter, Alexandre Desplat, Bebel Gilberto, Lupita Infante, Sarah Jarosz, Mykal Kilgore, Ledisi and Mariachi Sol de Mexico by Jose Hernandez include, PJ Morton, Gregory Porter, Grace Potter, Säje, Gustavo Santaolalla (Bajofondo), Anoushka Shankar and Kamasi Washington.
The current nominees will be Bill Burr, Chika, Infante and the former Chairman of the Recording Academy, Jimmy Jam present the first GRAMMY Awards of the day. Branden Chapman and Bill Freimuth are the producers on behalf of the Recording Academy, Greg Fera is the executive producer and Cheche Alara will act as the music producer and music director.
Music fans get with GRAMMY Live, which is available internationally on GRAMMY.com and via Facebook Live, the exclusive streaming partner of GRAMMY Live, will provide unparalleled digital access to content from the GRAMMY Awards. GRAMMY Live takes the audience behind the scenes with backstage experiences, interviews before the show and highlights after the show from Music’s Biggest Night. GRAMMY Live will be streamed all day on Sunday March 14, including during and after the evening TV broadcast of the GRAMMY Awards. IBM, the Recording Academy’s official AI & cloud partner, will host GRAMMY Live entirely on the IBM Cloud for the first time.

The GRAMMY Channel will kick off Tuesday March 2nd at 12:00 PM (CET) and will run through GRAMMY Night (Sunday March 14th) on SiriusXM Channel 104. Music fans from all over the world can watch the dazzling show live on CBS / CBS All Access. In addition, the GRAMMY premiere, which will host most of the 83 categories of awards, will be broadcast live on GRAMMY.com. One of the biggest days in music outside of the show itself is the nomination announcement, where hundreds of artists will learn that they are in the running for a golden gramophone. Just before the nominees were announced on November 24th, the Recording Academy announced that GRAMMY-nominated South African comedian Trevor Noah will host the 2021 GRAMMYs.
While the format of the GRAMMY Awards for next year has not yet been announced, Harvey Mason, Jr., Interim President / CEO of the Recording Academy, gave a glimpse of what’s going on on the show in June 2021 during an interview with Variety is expected. « We are developing three plans at the same time for what the show would look like: one is the traditional full set show, two is a limited amount, and three is not a lot, and all three of these ideas are creative: how and where we would film it. But none of them involve changing or moving the date, « said Mason.
» I’ve spent a lot of time talking to artists, managers, and labels and getting a feel for how the pandemic is affecting the release of music – and as you may have noticed, the amount of music released has actually increased during the pandemic so we don’t want to postpone our date with so much great music, « he continued.
» But I think so too That it is important and helpful to have shows like this when there has been so much uncertainty and turmoil – to know something that comes up every year and to know that there is a time when we all sit down and g Watch great entertainment and art … We’re trying to build the next development of the academy, and the show will go with it. More recently, on Sept. 30, he spoke to Variety again, adding that regardless of that, the show will be performed entirely live with no pre-recorded segments.

Stepping out with the 63rd GRAMMY Awards some exciting changes in place! Following Ken Ehrlich’s 40th anniversary as executive producer on the show, Emmy Award-winning producer Ben Winston will take over the reins. The highly experienced television / film writer / director / producer has worked on « The Late Late Show with James Corden « worked and collaborated with comedian Cordens to create the beloved » Carpool Karaoke « show.
In addition, several important changes to voting policies and rules will come into effect this year, five of which will be prizes categories concern. These updates, announced in June, reflect the Recording Academy’s ongoing commitment to evolving with the music landscape and ensuring that the nomination process and rules are more transparent and fairer. Another exciting category update happened in November when the Best World Music Album was changed to the more comprehensive Best Global Music Album. While this may seem subtle to those unfamiliar with the baggage that the term « world music » carries, it represents an important tribute to his past and move toward a more inclusive, adaptable future.
The new Name was set after extensive discussions with artists, ethnomusicologists and linguists from around the world, who decided to rename it « a more relevant, modern and comprehensive term, » explained an email to members of the Recording Academy. « The change symbolizes a departure from the colonial, folk and ‘non-American’ connotations that the previous term embodied while adapting to current listening and cultural trends in the various communities it might represent. »
As the only music award recognized by experts, the GRAMMY is the highest award in the music industry.
