A man was allegedly caught with nearly $ 700,000 worth of magic mushrooms in a house in western Sydney, leading to serious drug charges.
The 26-year-old was arrested on February 3 after at A search of the man’s vehicle in West Pennant Hills allegedly found magic mushrooms, cocaine, two knives and more than $ 50,000 in cash.
Later that day, however, police searched a Greystanes house and found it allegedly a secret laboratory for the production of magic mushrooms.
More than 46 kilograms of the mushrooms – valued at nearly 700,000 US dollars – were allegedly confiscated from the property on Merrylands Road.
The 26-year-old was found on Monday at Silverwater Prison charged with manufacturing and supplying large quantities of illicit drugs.
