Aston Villa Egypt international and winger Mahmoud Trezeguet has returned to training after recovering from COVID-19.
Trezeguet has not appeared for Villa since November 30 when he suffered a head injury that paused him for a while.
Immediately after a hamstring injury, he missed Aston Villa’s last six league games.
To continue the string of unfortunate events, Trezeguet tested positive for COVID-19 last week, as soon as he returned to team training.
Now he has recovered and is available for the upcoming Villians games, starting with Man City on Wednesday.
Aston Villa is currently with 26 points after 15 games 11th place in the Premier League table.
Trezeguet has played 10 games for Villa in all competitions this season without scoring a goal.
