Last year, Luken said he spent hundreds of hours planning and thousands of dollars getting it canceled weeks before the season started because of the pandemic.

« To avoid this, we won’t start planning a parade until the Reds 45. 000 fans and we can all feel safe going on the « unofficial holiday of Cincinnati, » « he said in the press release.

According to hatches, they were in constant contact with the Reds during this process and supported their decision.

« Until we can all meet again and play ball together, the parade will be interrupted, » he said.
