Millionaire Gold Coast Titans recruit, David Fifita, was arrested on the Gold Coast following an alleged incident in a private household.

News reported Sunday evening that Fifita had arrived at a property in Clear Island Waters, where he was believed to have been invited by a woman before residents called the police.

The Gold Coast Bulletin reported that he went to the right house but went to the wrong room.

Fifita was arrested at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday before she was taken to the Broadbeach Police Station before being released without charge.

In a statement, Queensland Police confirmed they were called to a Clear Island Waters residence at around 8 a.m. on Sunday morning. A 20-year-old man was arrested nearby and taken to Broadbeach Station for questioning before being released from custody without charge.

« A 20-year-old man was arrested around 8 a.m. after reports of trespassing on property in Clear Island Waters, » a police spokesman said.

« He was taken to the Broadbeach Police Station for questioning and was later released without charge. The investigations are still ongoing. ”

« The Gold Coast Titans were made aware of an incident involving one of the club’s players, » he said.

It comes a little over a year after Fifita was arrested in Bali and jailed for three days before she was released after a nightclub incident.

Fifita spent two nights behind bars after allegedly meeting security guard Dani Irawan at La Favela nightclub in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Fifita made waves this season when he signed with the Titans and moved three dollars from the Brisbane Broncos for three years. 5 million contract making him one of the highest paid players in the league.

The 20-year-old has played 37 games for Brisbane in three seasons but announced his decision in the middle of the Broncos horror season.

« It was a tough decision, but I love the Gold Coast lifestyle and the beach, » said Fifita.

« I had the opportunity to go to Sydney, but I didn’t want to go to Sydney.

« This (the Gold Coast) is only an hour from my Brisbane home. It’s best for me and my family.

“I have to take care of my family and football too, and see how well the titans do at the end of the season and the guys who come on board. We can do something special. ”
