The People’s Choice Awards held on Sunday (15 November) became the latest party of 2020 to launch by default, and just like the audience-free versions of the BET, CMA, VMA and Emmy Awards, there were a lot of notable moments from the Pandemic Era show..

Hosting pop star Demi Lovato, the People’s Choice Awards have replaced their usual live audience with a virtual crowd of dozens of gigantic video panels from across the country..

For talent, some winners and presenters joined Lovato in person at the Barker Hangar Theater in Santa Monica, California, while others joined the fans virtually on the big screen.

From emotional acceptance speeches to powerful performances, here is a sample of the must-watch moments from E! a program.

Presenter Mario Lopez said, “He’s on mute, I think,” to Elizabeth Berkeley, actress for Saved By The Bell, as Fallon continued yelling in the void of Zoom.

After being ignored at the 2020 Emmys Awards, content creator Mindy Kaling and star Maitreyi Ramakrishnan finally had a moment of glory while accepting the best comedy show of the hit Netflix series.

“We set out to tell a funny story about an American Indian girl and her family, and we had no idea that we would get that response,” Kaling said..
