Two men are lucky to be alive after their light aircraft crashed into a sports stadium on Sydney’s northern shores.
The pilot and his passenger were injured when the plane crashed in Cromer Park shortly before four. 30 pm on Saturday.
Witnesses reported that they heard the engine flying overhead before the plane, which was understood to belong to a flying school, crashed on the ground.
