The trailer for the upcoming Bee Gees documentary explores the story of the band’s hit single,’ Staying Alive ‘.. “It was extraordinary. “Something ‘fever’ happened and it happened when everything exploded,” says the narrator in the above passage.

The documentary deals with the lives and careers of Barry, Morris and Robin Gibb, the three brothers who founded the Bee Gees in 1958, beginning with their childhoods in Australia and early career performances in London in the 1960s.

Archive footage of recording sessions, concert performances, home videos, and TV appearances of the Bee Gees will be included in the film, and most will be new fan footage. Barry Gibb, the only surviving Bee Gee, is interviewed in the film and will use pre-recorded interviews with the late twins Robin and Maurice.

The film will also be interviewed with current musicians who have been affected by the band – including Eric Clapton, producer Mark Ronson, Justin Timberlake, Chris Martin, Noel Gallagher, and Nick Jonas. .

An official selection from Telluride Film Festival 2020, « The Bee Gees: How Can You Mend a Broken Heart », was produced in association with Polygram Entertainment, Kennedy / Marshall and White Horse Pictures, in association with Diamond Docs.

Directed by Frank Marshall, who also produced « The Curious Case of Benjamin Button » and the racing drama « Seabiscuit ».
