World News – AU – Bells Creek near Caloundra – Bushfire

There are currently several Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) crews on site at a bushfire that is burning along Bells Creek Road near Bells Creek. The fire does not currently pose a threat to property. Firefighters are working to contain the fire. Local residents are affected by smoke. Residents are asked to close windows and doors and to keep medication nearby if they have respiratory problems. Drivers should drive with caution and under certain conditions. If residents are concerned that their property is at risk, they are advised to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
