On Sunday, Stefani posted a video on her Instagram story of a late Christmas dinner showing the spread of seasonal decor and food while Shelton, 44, jokingly chugged a bottle of wine. « Oh dear God! » She said with a laugh as he drank, « He’s totally faking! »

Stefani, 51, who shares three sons – Apollo Bowie Flynn, 6, Zuma Nesta Rock, 12, and Kingston James McGregor, 14 with ex-Gavin Rossdale – stated that they will have their Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday night and it will be live on The Voice Monday night that she said « is insane. «

« Blake told her boy he was going to propose and asked for permission, » a source close to Stefani told PEOPLE earlier this month. « Your family thinks he’s very good. He’s a great partner and a great additional dad to the boys. Gwen is thrilled. The proposal came as a surprise. « 

Though Shelton and the No Doubt rocker kept their long-awaited news private for several days, the source said the couple were « very excited » to share it with the world in October. 27 when they posted a joyful joint announcement showing the ring on Instagram.

« Yes please, » Stefani simply said of her post while Shelton wrote, « Hey @gwenstefani, thank you for saving my 2020 and the rest of my life. I love you. I heard a YES! «

Back in July, Shelton opened the Today show about balance, being both a friend and a role model for Apollo, Zuma, and Kingston.
