PSG’s preparations for their Champions League clash against RB Leipzig took a turn on Tuesday night when 11 of their players got stuck in an elevator at the team’s hotel in Germany
According to Le Parisien, the group of players was blocked for 50 minutes and had to be released by firefighters Defender Layvin Kurzawa posted a clip of firefighters coming to their rescue on Instagram
He then deleted the clip, but not before a number of supporters shared the footage on social media

Reports in France on Wednesday indicate that Kurzawa was stuck in the elevator with Presnel Kimpembe, Leandro Paredes, Angel Di Maria, Marquinhos, Bandiougou Fadiga, Abdou Diallo, Idrissa Gueye, Moise Kean, Colin Dagba and Kays Ruiz-Atil

In Kurzawa’s clip, a player can even be heard jokingly calling the firefighters as Kylian Mbappe and Neymar are stuck with them in the elevator, apparently in the hope that they could free them more quickly.
The team had returned to their hotel after an evening training session in Germany to finalize their preparations for the Bundesliga
PSG play with Leipzig on Wednesday night, with both sides looking to earn three vital points in their Group H Champions League clash
Angel Di Maria and his teammate Kurzawa were two of the stars of PSG stuck in the elevator
Both teams lag behind group leaders Manchester United by three points after losing to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side so far in the tournament
PSG were beaten 2-1 at Parc des Princes while Leipzig were crushed 5-0 at Old Trafford last week
Leipzig and PSG both have three points after defeating the other side in Group H – Istanbul Basaksehir, so a win on either side later on Wednesday would see them strengthen their grip on securing a place in the top two of the group and a place in the elimination stages
