The Australian jungle is open to campmates in the Down Under version as usual and the show has proven it has a poisonous trail

With the jungle still open to the Australian celebs, no windy castle was required as the roommates settled in their new surroundings among the creepy crawling animals.

It’s been quite a baptism of fire for Toni Pearon, former Australia’s Funniest Home Videos host, taking part in a jungle trivia challenge.

It turned out to be a terrorist trial for the 48-year-old actress who had to stick her head in a box of snakes after receiving an incorrect answer.

While the snakes at Gwyrch Castle behaved well during the legal process, this was a poisonous pit of nightmares for the roommate as everything went terribly wrong.

Toni was shocked when she was bitten several times in the face as the snakes withdrew and kept jumping on her features.

After Toni noticed the snakes in the box, he exclaimed: « Oh, damn it! Far away! Oh my god, I hate snakes. « 

With several carpet pythons sliding around her head, everything turned nasty when one bit her cheek.

Toni shouted « Oh my god! » But this was just the beginning when other snakes started pouncing on her and biting her nose and chin.

The co-moderators Julia Morris and Dr. Chris Brown watched with open horror as the attacks continued throughout the process.

Toni had previously opened up to her jungle counterparts for the « humiliating » job she had to do between roles when she was struggling to get an acting job in Hollywood.

She said, « I had a lean couple of times when I was in LA where I had bad jobs. There was this friend of mine, she was selling roses.

« She’s also an actress and she said to me, ‘I went to this venue and this guy just bought this whole rose basket for $ 200. And that was my night. ‘

« I said, ‘Oh my god, I want this job. That is amazing. I can do that. “Well, I have my roses, in every place I’ve been, nobody wanted to buy my rose. « 

Toni continued, « People were having dinner and they were so [turned their heads] as I walked by, they didn’t even want to look at me.

« It was humiliating. So I said, “You know what? I just go to a night club. “So I go to this night club. No action for my roses. «
