World News – AU – Jarvis of the FaZe Clan Banned on Twitch for the First Time – Dexerto

. . FaZe Clan's Jarvis was banned on Twitch for the first time in nearly a year after his Fortnite stay expired.

. .

FaZe Jarvis, who is famous for being banned from Fortnite in 2019 after he was caught cheating, received his first ban from Twitch among many others hanging other banners on the platform.

Jarvis – the full name Jarvis Khatri – hacked the internet after receiving a final Fortnite ban last year, admitting to using aimbot hacking in the game on his alternate account.

Although the hacks are not used on his official account, and not used in a professional competitive environment (such as official tournaments), Fortnite has effectively closed the doors in his career as a professional in-game with unspecified comment on his part..

Now, it appears Jarvis has been banned from Twitch as well, although the reason for his suspension is still in the air at the time of writing..

Although Jarvis himself has not yet commented on the situation, it appears that a number of live broadcast creators have been banned in the past few days, mostly due to the strict DMCA removals occurring across the platform..

Twitch’s current DMCA drama escalated after the platform issued an apology and claimed they were shocked by a sudden wave of takedown notices – but later advised live broadcasters to mute their games to avoid being stopped.

Needless to say, this update angered quite a few users, forcing many of them to completely delete the clip library and VODS in order to continue streaming, at all..

While it’s not clear if this was the reason for Jarvis’ comment or not, it doesn’t look like fans will get an apology video from the star anytime soon – a video that inadvertently made an internet sensation due to an unprecedented action from Epic Games last year.

This ban also comes just two days after Jarvis’s birthday in an unfortunate twist of fate. It’s unclear how long Jarvis’s ban will last, but given that it’s his first infraction, viewers can expect the former Fortnite pro to return to the saddle soon..
