XI’AN, China, Nov. . Sep. 25, 2020 / PRNewswire / – LONGi, the world’s leading solar technology headquartered in Xi’an, China, is pleased to announce that it has successfully delivered its Hi-MO 4 series modules for Southeast Asia’s largest solar array, Phase I of the has Xuan Thien Ea Sup project in Dak Lak, Vietnam. The Xuan Thien Group announced on Jan.. Solar system with 600 MWac / 831 MWp commissioned in November 2020 is estimated at a power output of 1. 5 billion kWh per year.

With almost 2 million solar modules, 500 kV / 1. 200 MVA transformer station and 22. With a 2 km 500 kV line, this is the largest solar power plant in Southeast Asia to date. The facility, which has an estimated cost of 20. 000 billion dong in construction, due to the joint efforts of developers, logistics partners and equipment suppliers including LONGi, it was operational five months ahead of the scheduled completion date. Construction of this facility began in April 2020 and LONGi signed an agreement to supply 273 MW of its modules for the project in May 2020. LONGi completed the delivery well before the deadline.

Numerous projects to build large solar power plants are ongoing in Vietnam, as the country is working on bridging the expected electricity shortage with green energy. The Dak Lak province in the central highlands of Vietnam is blessed with lots of sunshine and abundant fallow land and is ideal for generating solar energy. The Xuan Thien Group is therefore planning to increase the capacity of this plant to 2 by early 2022. 000 MWac / 2. 800 MWp and thus provide around 5 billion kWh per year for the national power grid.

Dennis She, SVP of LONGi Solar, commented, « We are proud and excited to be part of this great project by the Xuan Thien Group and to offer our trusted monocrystalline innovations.
