One person was killed in a shark attack on Broome’s popular Cable Beach, north Washington.
According to local authorities, a person was killed in a shark attack off Broomes Cable Beach in northern Western Australia.
At around 8:45 am, the police were informed of a severe shark attack on the popular tourist beach.
Police said a man was rescued from the water and treated by local officials before the St. John Ambulance arrived.
Previously, the Ministry of Primary Industry and Regional Development had issued a warning on its SharkSmart website that it was « investigating a possible shark bite incident ». .
