HAMILTON, New Zealand – Rain has delayed the start of the first New Zealand-West Indies cricket test at Seddon Park.

The litter should take place at 10:30 am. m. Local time, but Thursday morning showers forced a delay.

The complete covers were on the playing field, the approaches and the area around the bowlers at the scheduled time for the throw. Rain gathered on the ceiling and the outside field was saturated.

But nice weather is expected in the afternoon and it is likely to be possible to play later, but probably not in the first session.

The match is the first in a series of two tests. New Zealand took a 2-0 win in a three-game Twenty20 series on Tuesday, the first international series in New Zealand since March.
