Richmond seals a top-four spot after seeing off an improved Adelaide’s challenge

RICHMOND will play at least two finals after sealing a top-four spot with a comfortable 44-point win over Adelaide at Adelaide Oval.

The Crows challenged the Tigers early with impressive intensity at the contest but they couldn’t sustain that level as the reigning premiers pulled away to win 12.5 (77) to 4.9 (33).

Richmond pair Kane Lambert and Dustin Martin dominated through the midfield, while Jake Aarts, Josh Caddy and Jack Riewoldt were the prime threats up forward with two goals each.

Brad Crouch battled hard for the Crows and Taylor Walker turned the clock back with a couple of fine moments, including a first-quarter major that made him the highest goalscorer in club history.
