DONALD Trump finally said he would allow the 2020 election despite « massive fraud » – but he would not say whether he would attend Joe Biden’s inauguration.

Trump told reporters on Thanksgiving that Biden – who died on Jan.. January is to be sworn in – will leave the White House if he is confirmed as the election winner by the electoral college.

« It will be very difficult to admit because we know there has been massive fraud, » Trump said before promising a peaceful transfer of power. « Sure I will. And you know that. « 

Trump slammed a journalist during today’s tense briefing and said, « I am the President of the United States. Never talk to the president like that. « 

After reiterating his election charges of « fraud », he admitted « time is not on our side » two weeks before the electoral college meets to name a winner – he said if they got Biden on 14th. Choosing December would be a « mistake. ». «

Biden won the election with more than 80 million votes against Trump’s 73 million with 306 votes against Trump’s 232.

This roughly corresponds to the profit margin that Trump beat Hillary Clinton in 2016 with 304 votes to 227.

Biden was vacationing in the small coastal town of Rehoboth, Delaware, where he and his wife Jill with their daughter Ashley Biden and her husband Dr. Howard Kerin have a vacation home.

Biden said his family usually has a large gathering on the island of Nantucket, off Massachusetts, but this year « with only a small group around our dining table. « 

Trump often celebrates holidays at his Mar-a-Largo Florida resort, but stayed in the Washington area and spent part of the morning playing a round of golf at his Trump National Golf Club in Virginia.

In a White House Thanksgiving proclamation posted on Wednesday, the President’s annual note urged people to « gather » for the holiday.

Trump’s proclamation read: « I encourage all Americans to gather in homes and places of worship to thank God for our many blessings. «
