Tyler Onyango, a teenager with Kenyan roots, was promoted to the first team by Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti.

The 17-year-old played for England at a young age but can play for Harambee Stars as his father is Kenyan and his mother is from England.

Onyango was with the U23 national team last season but was promoted to the Premier League due to his steady growth.

Everton’s U23 manager David Unsworth said the starlet is headed for better things in the future after working with him at the junior level.

« He’s a boy with a great opportunity and possibly a great future, » Unsworth told Echo.

« He looks good, his profits are great, he just keeps getting better. He’s got the build, the pace. . . I try not to get excited too soon, but I like to see that

“All the best players start with us when they’re 16 or 17 years old. It has always been like that and history will tell you that and he’s someone else. He walked in and is immediately brought up to the level. ”

Onyango joined the Merseyside club while being there for eight years as he progressed through the Everton academy system. He did well playing for the U18 team before moving up to the U23 team in the 2019/20 season.

Even though he was promoted to the U23 much younger, Onyango stated that he would have to work even harder to develop further.

« I’ve been with the U23 for a year, but I’m only 17 and I’ve got a lot to do in my development, » Onyango said in an earlier interview.

“I listen and learn every day and record as much as possible. I want to maximize my potential and see where that leads. ”

The starlet signed a three-year deal in July when he joined the club’s U23 side.

Everton will be launched on Jan.. Play West Ham United on January 1st, 2021 as Lucas Digne is expected to be missing despite returning to individual training.
