One of the highly anticipated musicals coming to Australia in the past five years has announced a diverse collection representing backgrounds from all over the world
Hamilton will premiere at Lyric Theater, Sydney, next March with a 35-person team of three Aboriginal artists or Torres Strait Islander backgrounds
Shaka Cook, who will play Hercules Mulligan, Pilbara Tainga Savage, Torres Strait Islander, is in the group, along with Calan Purcell, a Wirajury man
Other backgrounds represented in the cast include Samoa, Maori, Filipino, Jamaican, South African, Nigerian, Egyptian, Japanese and Italian.
