Bam Margera, star of MTV’s « Jackass », calls for a boycott of the fourth installation of the stunt film.
Magera, 41, has raised mental health concerns after posting a since-deleted series of disturbing videos describing his complaints about the movie, which is slated for release in September.
While still on the cast list for the film on IMDb, he claims he was banned from production.
« I’m not in ‘Jackass 4’ and if someone cares, don’t watch their movie because if you just give me a dollar, I’ll be on my way, » he says first of two videos received from TMZ.
In the video, he claims that some of his concepts were used in the film. Representatives of the show’s director and writer Jeff Tremaine and writer and star Johnny Knoxville did not respond to the Post’s requests for comment.
« I’ve given you so many ideas, and when I’m not in the movie and they use my ideas, how do you think it makes me feel? » he said about his claim.
He also says that Paramount Pictures authorities allegedly forced him to take antidepressants. A Paramount employee did not respond to Post’s comment requests.
« ‘Jackass’ was everything to me, » he says at the end of the video, before crying, puffing up and throwing up. He later admitted drinking beer and wine before sharing the claims.
« If you’re a fan of mine you would understand the great pain I’m going through, » he says, waving to his wife Nikki, who is standing in the doorway, looking annoyed, and then back to himself in quick succession . « If anyone cares about me at all, throw me a king bone and send a dollar to this Venmo. »
He goes on to admit that after being extremely bored at home and feeling like Nikki « Living on Groundhog Day, » « found it online how to tie a noose, » and then the couple moved. They now live in Oceanside, California. « I made new friends that I love, » Margera continues, but he is still concerned that he wasn’t included in the upcoming sequel to « Jackass ».
« ‘Jackass’ doesn’t care me, you see ladies and gentlemen. It’s like my family won’t let me in because they say I’m out there and have a donkey in TMZ. So I can’t be in « donkey » because I’m out there and I’m a donkey? « he asks in a cracking voice before scratching his head hard.
Margera, who was open about his struggles, has been in rehab several times over the years and asked Dr. Phil even asked for help once in 2019. In a lengthy post he asked the television doctor to help him improve his life « In ruins. »
« DR. Phil, I need your help in a big, big way, » a desperate Margera said in his video post and rocked dark tones and a gold chain. « My family is in ruins. It’s worse than ever. »
