If you have pets, you probably know this fight well: sit on the couch and enjoy a sweet treat. Your puppy will sit by your side and ask for a bite. And while we were probably all guilty of « accidentally » dropping on the floor a little, having dairy products isn’t the safest thing for dogs … which is why Ben & came to the rescue of Jerry’s.
The legendary ice cream chain announced today that it is launching a range of desserts specially made for dogs, aptly titled « Doggie Desserts ». They are made on a sunflower butter basis so they are safe for dogs. There are currently two flavors in the line, and according to Ben & Jerry’s shape, they sound delicious (don’t judge me). First up is Pontch’s Mix, made with peanut butter and pretzel strudel, and then Rosie’s Batch, made with pumpkin and mini-biscuits. (By the way, if you want to see the dogs that inspired the names, check out Ben & Jerry’s office dogs here!).
The desserts’ individual mini-cups are typically $ 1.29, and multipacks are typically $ 4.49. This makes it the perfect gift for your dog while you both sit on the couch and enjoy your reality TV of your choice! You can expect to find these in pet stores and other locations around the country soon. So keep your eyes peeled and ask your pup to do the same!
