Blackmagic Design has improved its compact cinema powerhouse, the Blackmagic Pocket. Borrowing some elements from its big brother, the URSA Mini Pro, the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro offers the same 5th generation color science and the new 12-bit dynamic gamma curve.
Some of the improved specifications include a carbon fiber-polycarbonate composite construction, a 6144 x 3456 Super 35 sensor, motorized ND filters (2, 4 and 6 f-stops), an ISO range of 25,600, an adjustable 5-inch -HDR 1500 nit touchscreen and an NP -F570 battery compatibility (Battery Pro Grip optional). For those extra bright days, Blackmagic has also released an optional 1280 × 960 color OLED Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera Pro EVF for an additional $ 495. Those looking to add this to their kit can find it at Blackmagic Design for a price of $ 2,495.
