We are not even in the middle of the Bundesliga season and the table looks completely unpredictable. To make things even better, six of the seven best teams will compete against each other in the 15th Bundesliga round this weekend. Bayern Munich will be challenged by Mönchengladbach, while Leipzig will have to beat Dortmund to keep up with Bayern.

Union Berlin will try to consolidate their place in the Europa League in fifth place while Wolfsburg tries to knock them out because they are tied. Even at the end of the table, the relegation favorite Arminia meets Hertha Berlin in a match that could pull them out of the drop zone. Overall, this should be a Bundesliga round 15 for eternity, with great effects on almost all sides.

The first game of the 15th round of the Bundesliga takes place between Mönchengladbach and Bayern Munich in Borussia Park. Despite three draws, Bayern Munich were sensational in the Bundesliga this year and only lost 4-1 to Hoffenheim on matchday two. Their attack only seems to be getting better as a front man, Robert Lewandowski already has 24 goal contributions.

However, Bayern are known for a slip on the defensive. In fact, they have allowed 21 goals in the Bundesliga this year, the worst mark among all the top 6. Surprisingly, Mönchengladbach has split the last six games against Bayern and won each team three times, with a total score of 14-10 in favor of Bayern. Since Lars Stindl is attacking the Munich defense, I expect this game to come closer than some expect.

The next game is interesting between Union Berlin and Wolfsburg. These teams have actually only played two competitive games with a draw and a win after Wolfsburg. They are currently level on points in the table, but Union Berlin seems to be without Max Kruse and Joel Pohjanpalo, who are responsible for eight of their goals and five for their assists in the Bundesliga.

Wolfsburg, on the other hand, has a strong defense and has in conceded only 15 goals in the new season so far. They mainly rely on Wout Weghorst at the top, a nine-goal player and the gene to win a game on their own. For this reason I prefer Wolfsburg to win this match with great chances of winning.

The Bundesliga game everyone is looking forward to, RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund. Leipzig is in second place and looks like the best title challenger for Bayern Munich, who only lost points in the last six games in a draw with Cologne. However, they are also affected by the injury mistake and have to do without Justin Kluivert, Ibrahima Konate and Christopher Nkunku, which could significantly reduce their depth in the course of the game in the second half.

The real question is, will this Dortmund player ever show up ? They are full of young, promising talent, but too often they fall flat and produce inconsistent results. They rely so much on Golden Boy Erling Haaland at the helm which is fine because he’s a brilliant attacker. But against a strong central defender like Dayot Upamecano, I’ll always prefer defense. For this reason, I expect Leipzig to continue to put FC Bayern Munich under pressure in a fascinating title challenge.
