Richard Schiff and Sheila Kelly, who have been married for 24 years, say they discovered earlier this month with their diagnoses..
Chef plays Dr.. Aaron Glassman in The Good Doctor, a show filmed in and around Vancouver.
In a message on Twitter, Schiff said he tested positive for the novel coronavirus on Day U. s. Elections – November. 3.

In an update of his condition on Monday, Schiff revealed that while Kelly is recovering at home, he is being treated in hospital.
Thanking the public for their support, he wrote that he takes oxygen, steroids, and remdesivir, which is a broad-spectrum antiviral drug given intravenously.
Remdesivir was licensed earlier this year as a treatment for COVID-19 in adults with pneumonia who need additional oxygen, according to Health Canada.. .
Kelly posted on social media that she and Chef are « hanging out there, » and that Schiff « has come under a little stronger criticism » than she and their son Gus.
Back in July, show producer Sean Williamson spoke to CTV News about how the show is planning to safely resume production.
According to local movie blogger WhatsFilming. ca, Season 4 of the show that began airing on CTV in September and will run through the end of May.
Filming locations for the show included Surrey City Hall, Mountain View Cemetery, and Vancouver Community College.
