SOFIA, Bulgaria – Vancouver player Vasek Pospisil lost one victory to claim his first ATP tournament title.
30-year-old Busbecil lost 6-4 3-6 7-6 to Italian 19-year-old Yannick Senner in the Sofia Open indoor hardboard final on Saturday.
Pospecil, world ranked 74th, was ranked 0-2 in the Finals prior to Saturday’s result at the ATP Tour 250.
He also made it to the Indoor Hard Court Championship Final in Montpellier, France, in February.
This was their sixth loss in several finalists for the Canadians on the ATP Tour this season..
Faulty, the world no. 44 years old, he achieved great success, becoming the youngest player to reach the quarter-finals of the French Open since 2011.
