Diplo faces close scrutiny today after it emerged that 19-year-old influencer Quenlin Blackwell said she lives with him in Los Angeles
The 41-year-old producer, real name Thomas Wesley, now faces questions over the nature of their relationship and has since denied living on the property with the TikTok personality, claiming to be its owner
Blackwell, who has more than four million subscribers on TikTok, told fans in a live video on Oct. 23: « I live with Diplo right now and he fully supports my efforts. » then proved this by going and standing next to him
« Why am I living with you? » she reportedly asked in the clip, by Too Fab « I don’t have any other friends », Diplo replied « It’s the truth »
Speaking to his 25 million subscribers, Diplo tweeted: « OK so I’m renting one of my properties at @quenblackwell And yes I’m using the studio in this building
« His social media is sarcastic and chaotic and I can see you may have a twisted idea, but there is nothing but friendship between us »
He continued, « As an owner I don’t really consider age or breed a qualification You just have to pay a security deposit And don’t poke holes in the walls or ruin my carpet «

Blackwell denied rumors she was romantically involved with producer Major Lazer, tweeting: « I’m an adult I’m not being groomed Platonic relationships exist I’ve been living here for over a year »
« I’d rather break my legs and be forced to walk than pursue a romantic relationship with Diplo and he’d rather choke on him, » she said « Diplo gave me the opportunity and the security to create «
She added: « Diplo and his team have saved me from Los Angeles nuts many times. My parents trust him I trust him »
She also joked in a tweet: « it’s time to tell you the truth I am mixed and diplo is my dad »
Blackwell took the opportunity to be content with all the drama surrounding his life situation and started a new TikTok series, ‘Living With Diplo’
