World News – CA – Dubai churches only hold online Christmas services

Dubai: In the Catholic Church of St. Mary and the Trinity Church in Dubai and there will be no face-to-face services at Christmas, Church leaders have announced that services will only be held virtually.

Ms.. . Lennie J.. . A. Connully OFM Cap, Pastor of St. Mary’s Church, announced on their website that Christmas Mass will be held today, March 24th. December, at 7 p.m.. On Christmas Day, tomorrow at 6 a.m., two online trade fairs will take place. 30 and 7 p.m..

Rev. . Harrison Chinnakumar, chaplain of Holy Trinity Church in Dubai, also told Gulf News that they will only conduct Christmas services online. One is at 11 p.m. tonight and the other at 9 a.m.. 30 p.m. on Christmas Day (Friday). Both masses are optimized in zoom and social media.

He advised parishioners to stand firm in their faith and celebrate Christmas with faith, hope, joy, and peace. “(Because of COVID-19) we live in a world of uncertainty. We may not know what tomorrow will be, but in the midst of these we still firmly believe in faith, hope, joy and peace. ”
