Fortis BC informs Castanet that its crews are working on repairs to a power outage of which more than 5. 000 customers are affected. The work teams are investigating the cause of the failure and Fortis will provide more information as soon as they know more.
Thousands of Fortis BC customers were without power on Monday morning after an outage that covers much of Rutland, East Kelowna and Black Mountain.
According to Fortis BC, outage crews are working on repairs, but there is no schedule for power return as of 8:41 am. m. There are currently more than 5. 000 customers without electricity.
