Jürgen Klopp has published an update on fitness that Alisson Becker excluded from today’s Champions League duel with AFC Ajax.
The Brazilian goalkeeper is out with a hamstring injury, meaning Caoimhin Kelleher is making his European debut for the Reds.
Speaking to BT Sport ahead of the game, Klopp also admitted that Alisson was likely to miss the weekend’s Premier League game with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The boss said, « So it’s not COVID, I think it’s something we need to mention if it isn’t – and it isn’t.
