Manchester United and Liverpool are reportedly among the clubs ready to bid for the transfer of Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze.
The talented 21-year-old looked like an exciting prospect long after he got noticed in La Liga and it would be great to see him in the Premier League at some point.
According to La Razon, both Man Utd and Liverpool are said to be ready to make offers on Chukwueze as he is also being targeted by Real Madrid.
The report adds that Chukwueze will most likely leave for his € 80 million release fee – not exactly crazy money for the clubs mentioned.
It remains to be seen if these Premier League giants can convince Chukwueze to move to England instead of staying in Spanish football, but both sides would certainly benefit from his arrival.
The Nigerian international seems to be urgently needed, especially at Old Trafford. United are poor quality after Jesse Lingard and Daniel James fell out of favor after a lack of influence with the team.
Liverpool are likely less desperate for new signings in attack but Chukwueze looks like an outstanding young talent who could offer Jurgen Klopp more opportunity and the prospect of long-term replacements for Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane in the US future.
