Ontario Provincial Police report that they detained a suspect shortly before 8 p.m. following an earlier tweet. m. that they were looking for an armed and dangerous man in the village of Millhaven on Highway 33 and County Road 4.
The earlier tweet from the OPP East region stated that the male was probably walking in the area. The residents were asked to “take shelter in a safe place” until further notice, but the new tweet shortly after 8pm. m. said there was no further risk to public safety. ”
