World News – CA – Report: Raptors agree to deal with striker Alize Johnson

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Toronto Raptors have agreed to a deal with striker Alize Johnson.

By signing Johnson, the Raptors can take him to training camp to compete for a potential full-time roster spot or two-way deal in the regular season. Toronto currently has 11 guaranteed deals on tap (they also have Paul Watson Jr. . in the second year of a two-way contract) and two other players still have to decide whether to waive or keep (Matt Thomas, Terence Davis). After giving up Dewan Hernandez on Thursday, Toronto has at least one regular roster seat open, as well as room for another two-way deal.

After spending the past two seasons with the Indiana Pacers, Johnson, 24, has been on the pitch most often with the team’s G League partner, Fort Wayne Mad Ants. Last season he averaged 20. 1 point, 12. 8 rebounds, 4. 6 templates and 1. 4 steals at 52 percent shooting in 19 games.
