Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, shared his joy and pride on the occasion of the 49th. United Arab Emirates National Holiday in a new poem dedicated to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Commander in Chief of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces.
In his patriotic poem entitled « The Day of a Nation », Sheikh Mohammed paid tribute to the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed.
Sheikh Mohammed fused classical Arabic with the local dialect Nabati to express his pride in the nation, its founding fathers, and today’s leaders. He particularly paid tribute to Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed ‘Bu Khalid’ and described him as a great leader.
His poem pulsates with deeply ingrained devotion, patriotic feelings, love for the country, its leaders and people, and a desire that the UAE remain an oasis of happiness for its citizens and advance its achievements overall and maintain its leading position among the spheres Top Nations.
Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid concluded his poem by congratulating « Bu Khalid » on the UAE’s most cherished day in its history.
