Many MCU movies and TV shows have been delayed due to the pandemic. The Hollywood Reporter recently released an update on the resumption of production of several Marvel films, including Thor: Love and Thunder.
The Hollywood Reporter claims that the next Thor movie will have an « Avengers 5 feel » to it because of its huge cast. Along with the returning cast, Christian Bale, Natalie Portman and Chris Pratt will appear in the film. Thor: Love and Thunder will begin production in Sydney, Australia in January 2021.
Director Taika Waititi previously spiced up the story of the new Thor movie. Waititi said, “We’ve been writing the script back and forth for over a year, and I’m doing another pass this week. It’s so crazy. It’s also very romantic. I like romances now. I just want to have a romance. I want to do something that I have never done or cared for. I would like to attack something like that. ”
