A police officer was run over by a reversing car while another was shot in the arm in an incident in Sydney’s inner west.
On Friday night, four officers approached a car parked on an Earlwood reservation, when the vehicle began to reverse and hit an officer.
Police say one of the four officers then fired his gun and a fragment of the bullet hit another officer in the left forearm.
The driver of the vehicle, a 26-year-old man, and his female passenger have yet to be charged.
