The Delaware Fightin Blue Hens and Maine Black Bears will battle it out at the Delaware Stadium on Saturday for Week 4 of the FCS College Football Showdown. This is the first game of the season for both teams.
The Delaware Fightin Blue Hens are currently ranked 25th and it’s important to start the season on the right foot. Delaware was inconsistent last year, but this is a team that brings back a lot of seasoned leaders and that could be a big key for this team out of this season’s goal. Last season, Delaware finished with a 5-17 overall record, but 15 starters are back from last year’s team. One of the starters who is back is quarterback Nolan Henderson, who everyone is hoping can take a big step forward this season.
On the side of this matchup are the Maine Black Bears, who are in their final Played 6-6 in the season, but this team will look very different from last year’s squad. One of the big changes for this team is the backcourt. Curtis Murray is the only one to back down with last year’s roster that is back on that team.
