NIGERIA international Kelechi Iheanacho and Ayoze Perez will compete for the injured Jamie Vardy when Leicester takes on Brentford in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Sunday.
Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers says that Vardy, who has scored 13 goals in all competitions this season, will be out « for a few weeks » with a minor hernia operation.
« We always try to rely on the collective, the group has always got results, » said Rodgers.
« If you don’t have the best strikers in the league, that’s disappointing. I have other great strikers – Ayoze Perez and Kelechi Iheanacho. »
Toney is suspended after breaking during Brentford’s win over Luton Town was sent off in stoppage time.
