Paris: Ferrari has entered the Le Mans hypercar era. The Italian motorsport team announced on Wednesday that it would take part in the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2023.
The legendary Ferrari racing car has not been part of the endurance scene led by the 24 Hours of Le Mans since 1973 .
While the much anticipated car has not yet been unveiled, it has been designed and Ferrari is also preparing to name its drivers.
The manufacturer is entering the new top tier of the FIA World Endurance Championship and is currently running his project to introduce the team and the auto and development teams.
Ferrari President John Elkann said the project would help make every street car produced at his Maranello base exceptional.

D he new program gives Ferrari the opportunity to diversify its activities with Formula 1 introducing an annual spending limit of $ 145 million for each team this season.
