Omid Djalili, Perri Shakes-Drayton, Dermot Murnaghan and Susan Calman were the four famous faces who were hoping to win big on tonight’s The Chase: Celebrity Special.However, in order to do that, they would have to outdo quiz mistress Anne Susan a was the first to try and get things done but, as is usually the case in the ITV quiz, Bradley and Anne couldn’t resist a cheeky glance
The jokes started early on after Susan racked up a respectable £ 6,000 in her cash generator
It was left to Bradley to introduce each of the five possible chasers she might face, issuing a jibe or two along the way
Regarding Anne’s introduction, Bradley bluntly berated, jokingly: « Or are you going to play The Governess,
« Less Kim Kardashian, more Kim Jong-Un, » he said as loud laughter filled the ITV studio
Susan was quick to defend the quiz expert, however, admitting that she was the chaser she wanted to face
« I would like to meet Anne », admits Susan « I would like to go on a caravan vacation with her »
The bizarre confession was greeted with a puzzled reaction from Bradley and moments later his wish came true
Anne quickly got out of the backstage and walked over to the table, much to Bradley and Susan’s delight
However, Bradley played straight into Anne’s hands by delivering a blunt rebuke: « He loves anyone who makes him look great »
Susan leaned in, laughing as the studio audience joined in as well – while Bradley gawked at the passing
As the series progressed, Susan managed to make it home with her £ 6,000 for the final pursuit
Dermot followed suit with £ 5,000 to add while Perri opted for the low offer of £ 1,000 to secure his place in the final
In a one-on-one, Omid turned it into a one-question shootout as he neared a monumental victory
However, paying homage to him, Anne first put on a show and gave Omid a standing ovation for his efforts
