Almost a week after his impressive debut against Wales, Grealish finds himself on the bench for the second game in a row after missing Belgium’s 2-1 loss on Sunday at Wembley
Grealish once again finds himself behind the pecking order of Chelsea boss at Mason Mount in England, Gareth Southgate, with Marcus Rashford and recalled Harry Kane up front
Grealish is in good shape domestically, playing a leading role in Premier League champion Liverpool’s shock 7-2 defeat last time around
This doesn’t appear to have convinced Southgate that he deserves a first-team role in the Three Lions setup, however, much to the annoyance of Villa fans.
Yet at least that means Grealish and Villa teammate Tyrone Mings – also on the bench – is fresh for Sunday’s trip to Leicester City
There were concerns Grealish might be injured when he was pictured wearing a bandage on his leg against Wales, but Southgate decided to allay his concerns, confirming the Villa star was not taking any hits
With an injury outside the image, Villa fans can’t fathom another decision to omit Grealish
