Charles spoke at the annual Festival of Remembrance held at the Royal Albert Hall by the Royal British Legion to honor the memory of servicemen who lost their lives in conflict

During the festival, screened by the BBC, Battle of Britain veterans shared their memories of the crucial air conflict as members of the armed forces spoke about their roles with Nightingale hospitals or supporting Covid testing- 19

Sir Tom, a World War II veteran, has captured the hearts of the nation, with his fundraising efforts that have seen over £ 30million pour in for NHS charities

He had decided to raise £ 1,000 by walking 100 tours of his garden in the village of Marston Moretaine in Bedfordshire before his 100th birthday on April 30, but raised millions more and was knighted for his efforts
