The Prince of Wales paid tribute to the country’s armed forces for standing ‘side by side’ with frontline NHS staff and key workers in the fight against the coronavirus

Charles spoke at the annual Festival of Remembrance held at the Royal Albert Hall by the Royal British Legion to honor the memory of servicemen who lost their lives in conflict

During the festival, screened by the BBC, Battle of Britain veterans shared their memories of the crucial air conflict as members of the armed forces spoke about their roles with Nightingale hospitals or supporting Covid testing- 19

Sir Tom, a World War II veteran, has captured the hearts of the nation, with his fundraising efforts that have seen over £ 30million pour in for NHS charities
