World News – GB – England captain Harry Kane doubts Belgium after injury in training

Harry Kane could miss the upcoming England-Belgium clash between the Nations League and Belgium after suffering a muscle injury in training

The England captain was given a rest as Gareth Southgate’s men scored three goals past Wales in a one-sided friendly at Wembley on Thursday night

It is understood that Kane failed with the issue at St George’s Park on Saturday and the injury could see Dominic Calvert-Lewin continue his run for the team after finding the net on his midweek debut

The 23-year-old striker has had a stellar start to the campaign, scoring ten goals in seven appearances for club and country, with Everton topping the Premier League table

Kane could also be a doubt for the next Three Lions Nations League home game against Denmark on Wednesday night

This is the latest in a long string of injury issues for Kane, who was forced to miss Tottenham’s season-ending last season with a torn hamstring

England head coach Southgate has hinted that Tammy Abraham and Jadon Sancho – who both missed England’s 3-0 win over Wales – could be in line for play against Belgium

« They obviously missed a bit of practice, so it’s a load problem during the week

West Ham’s Declan Rice is set to start in the middle of the park and Harry Maguire, Marcus Rashford and Jordan Henderson could also return to the side

Manchester City right-back Kyle Walker is in line to win his 50th international cap in the game
