Homes Under The Hammer has been on screens since 2003 and is usually featured by Martin Roberts, Dion Dublin and Martel Maxwell. But the BBC is presenting an update to its popular 2021 real estate show as two new faces join the team.
The presenter team goes from three to five as Jackie Joseph and Tommy Walsh announced as new presenters.
They are currently filming for the upcoming series, which will be on screen early 2021.
During an appearance on Morning Live with Kym Marsh and Gethin Jones, Gethin asked, « Was it difficult to keep it a secret? »
Jackie replied, « It was a little. ». « But in the end I told my family and they were very excited.
“To tell you the truth, it’s one of my guilty pleasures – Homes Under The Hammer – it’s a show I watch when I can.
“Now Jackie, you said you were the loud guy and Tommy was the practical person. Is it true and what do you both hope to bring to the show? Kim added.
« I am curious, not boisterous! » Jackie explained. “Because I think we’re all curious, we want to know the results are going to be. I like to get practical with what they’re going to do, blueprint, layout, demolish walls, lighting.
« And Tommy, this is your life from Groundforce, are you looking forward to being caught up in this season? » Gethin continued.
Tommy said: “I’m really excited to join the team, as I said I have a little bit of experience behind me – about 60 years – and I think I can put that on the table and create the right decisions about renovating and restoring their properties at auction..
Jacqui and Tommy both have extensive design and build experience – both on and off screen.
Tommy became famous for his days in Earth Power and Jackie will be familiar to the crowd during the day as the host of Money for Nothing..
