World news – GB – Jesse Nelson takes a long break from Little Mix for ‘medical reasons’

The announcement comes after the singer missed several appearances with the band including their talent show final on BBC One The Search and their hosting gig at the MTV European Music Awards.

A spokesperson for the group confirmed: “Jesse is extending leave from Little Mix for private medical reasons.

« We will not issue any additional comments at this time and we ask the media to respect their privacy at this time.

Fans have been sharing their concerns about Jesy after she became noticeably absent on more than one of Little Mix’s high profile appearances in recent weeks..

It was first reported that she will not be joining band mates Jade Thirlwall, Lee Anne Pinnock and Perry Edwards in the final of their talent show The Search earlier this month..

At the time, the band representative said that Jesse was too « sick » to appear in the studio.

They told viewers, “Jesse is sick and won’t appear in tonight’s final of Little Mix: The Search.

Jesy rose to fame as a member of Little Mix back in 2011 when she was cast on The X Factor, before going on to make history as the first group to win the show..

Although the coronavirus pandemic stopped their UK tour in June, Little Mix has continued to work tirelessly this year with the release of their sixth album Confetti and three singles from it.
