The man suspected of shooting Sergeant Matt Ratana in a detention center can be named as Louis de Zoysa, 23, the oldest of five from a middle-class family in south London

The family live in a terraced house in Norbury, south London, which was cordoned off by police on Saturday as they continued their forensic searches
M de Zoysa has two younger brothers, one of whom, John, 21, is studying for a Masters in Engineering at the University of Oxford
He also has two sisters, one of whom has done several charity bike rides to benefit the Sri Lankan Christian Association. The five children attended local Catholic schools

M de Zoysa was arrested not far from his family home just after 1 Friday 30 a.m. after officers patrolling the Norbury area carried out a routine stop and search
After calling for backup, officers handcuffed the suspect behind his back and transported him to nearby Croydon Detention Center
It is alleged that, as he was about to be searched by an officer with a metal detector, he recovered a gun which was hidden about him and opened fire five times, hitting M Ratana to the chest
M de Zoysa was also hit by a bullet and was also taken to hospital where he remains in critical condition
Scotland Yard has confirmed it continues to search the family home as well as another location in Banstead, Surrey
Meanwhile, East Anglia detectives arrested a man in the Norwich area in the wee hours of the morning on suspicion of supplying a gun
