Former Manchester United striker Michael Owen says Paul Pogba may need to consider his options if he continues to sit on a bench.

The French were on the bench a few games before the international break. Some former players and experts suggested he could not play with Bruno Fernandes.

Despite his recent comments that France are a breath of fresh air after their struggles with United, Owen believes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer must find a place for Pogba ahead of West Bromwich Albion game.

« West Brom comes in after a string of bad results. Aside from playing three to Chelsea, they didn’t look particularly good in the back and have been just as bad in the future.

« United have yet to find their rhythm and they have to find a way to bring their best players onto the field at the same time, which is obviously easier said than done.

« You can’t leave Pogba on the bench. If he can’t secure a regular spot on the page soon, he may need to think about his options.

« All United are inconsistent, they are up against a team that are really struggling and I expect them to comfortably win this. « . «
