P&O Cruises is extending the suspension of its cruises until April 2021 due to the ongoing uncertainty with restrictions during the pandemic
The cruise line says the move was due to « the current uncertainty about European ports of call ». .
The company announced that it would contact all affected customers and offer them options including a 125% Future Cruise Credit or a full 100% refund.
Paul Ludlow, President of P&O Cruises, said: « With hopeful headlines, we don’t want to extend our break in operations any further than is absolutely necessary, but in view of the constantly changing guidelines for international travel and the different regulations in many European ports for advising to cancel these additional appointments.
« Also, with final payments due for these cruises very soon, we felt it was right to do this for our guests.
« We’re so sorry to disappoint those who have been traveling, but we sincerely hope they have them for later in the year or for our new program of 2022 Holidays which hit heavy demand earlier this month , book again and show yourself great confidence in the cruise in the future. «

P&O Cruises had already announced that it would cease operations until ‘early 2021’, but has now confirmed that these cancellations will last until April.
